Dear All, It was good to get some specific Narcissus choices. Thanks Linda and thanks everyone for all your contributions. I'm going to try to compile them all and make a wiki page to link with the TOW page. Most of my honorable mentions were put on the list by someone else, so I'll just add two more that I don't think made the list. I was hoping we'd hear from Alberto if he was able or Germán and they'd nominate some of those South American irids. I will suggest Hesperoxiphion peruvianum which put on such a show for me summer into fall and Spiloxene serrata and Spiloxene capensis (the yellow flowered version I saw in South Africa but don't grow, but hope to grow since I have a pink one and a white one.) I do have Spiloxene serrata returning and am fond of it too. Mary Sue Mary Sue Ittner California's North Coast Wet mild winters with occasional frost Dry mild summers
