Five favorite yellow-flowered geophytes

Hi Jim,

Unfortunately it is very familiar in my memory even if it was nearly 20
years ago. I avoided bulbs for a long time after that. I'm back at it
again, still trying to find sources for many of the rare Hymenocallis I
lost then, not to mention the even rarer Hippeastrum species. I think they
were 'Pax', 'Herlios' and 'Icon' if I remember correctly.

BTW Jim, I think I bought some Hymenocallis hybrids (the Korsakoff hybrids
Pax, Helios and Icon or Icarus or something like that) from you about
fifteen or twenty years ago. Shortly after, you experienced a big freeze
and lost a lot of plants - and I thought you were no longer in business.
Does that sound familiar? If so, it's a small world, isn't it!

Where bulbs are concerned, it is indeed a small world. People I
remembered as being high school students are greying professors now.....
