Greetings, just to add to the thread of breeding Crinum x powelii. I have had around 10 plants bloom this season thus far each with a minimum of 3 spikes each. They are still blooming. I have tried to cross them with various Crinum species every year I have had them and no seed set until this season. I have had one seed pod set on the plants. Should be interesting to see what becomes of it. The pollen I used was from Crinum species and it amazed me that the seeds actually set. Although the pod is small it is setting, exciting news indeed!
