Hi I have 2 pots of Scoliopus bigelowii in bud/flower at present, both young plants, which I have had for 1 and 3 years respectively, and purchased at AGS shows. The older has 5 flowers open(ing) and 2 to come, the other just 2 buds. The older flowered before but I missed it, being so early in the year. I could not notice any scent when I tried it the other day but it was only a few degrees above freezing at the time. Mine are sitting in the cold frame with the other mainly north American woodlanders. I have not managed to flower the Clintonia andrewsii with it yet, which I have had for 3 years. Note the RHS Plant Finder has bigelowii, whereas my other books have bigelovii. Thank you Mary Sue for making me go back and look at Jim's photo again; I missed the flower the first time I looked at it. Brian Whyer, zone 8'ish, Buckinghamshire, England
