refrigerate hardy Lycoris sprengeri seedling pots?

The only problem I see with planting L. sprengeri there is that if they switch to a winter foliage pattern like mine have done, then at the time they need to be receiving sunshine to store up energy/food for the coming dormancy, they won't be receiving any sunlight.

I am interested in the soil temperatures at bulb planting depth
exactly for this sort of question. Currently in the coldest beds which
are shaded all day this time of year the soil is still in the mid 40's
F at 4 to 6 inches deep.
