Greetings, May I suggest you consider an online spreadsheet such as Google Drive? (The online spreadsheet can be easily downloaded to an excel file for local access or safe-keeping.) The benefits of having an online document are substantial. Google drive saves the complete revision history of a file - so you don't need to worry about someone changing or corrupting a document irreversibly. And having a common document means no one must constantly collate and merge changes. The local Native Plan Society I work with has found Google documents to be very useful in collaborative information tracking and aggregation. -|<ipp > From: avbeek1@hotmail.com > To: pbs@lists.ibiblio.org > Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2014 15:53:03 +0000 > Subject: Re: [pbs] ENSURING THE FUTURE OF OUR PLANTS > > > If folks are interested I could put an Excel spreadsheet together for > > everyone to take a look at. > > Sure there are a lot of people interested, me included. > > For those not having Microsoft Excel or Office installed no worry. > Just download free opensource software like http://www.openoffice.org/ or http://www.libreoffice.org/ > > Aad > Holland > > _______________________________________________ > pbs mailing list > pbs@lists.ibiblio.org > http://pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php > http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/
