The A. spiralis that is in cultivation seems to be able to self pollinate readily and produces tons of pods. There are several other entities/species that gets passed on as "Albuca spiralis" but they seem to not self-fertile (such as A. foetida). Albuca namaquensis for instance does not produce any seeds for me until there was a second clone.
