Guys, The bulbs were growing in 1-gal pots (ca. 7 in. diam x 7 inches deep) with 3 or 4 to 6 or 7 bulbs per pot for the larger bulbs (Zephyranthes). There were more seedlings per pot, and more of the smaller tubispathus bulbs per pot. Charles emphasized (after 40 years of growing these things in pots in greenhouses) that rain lilies need lots of healthy roots if you want to see them bloom. That says to me that the pots need to be at least as deep as wide. Have fun! Jim Shields At 04:23 PM 1/2/2014, Ina wrote: There is nohard and fast rule for this Aad. Bulbs like drummondii are huge, tubispathus are small. Which bulbs are they?
