Amazing Amaryllis

Hi,

What do the 1920's bring to mind - silent movies, prohibition,
gangsters, jazz music, and people calling Hippeastrum, Amaryllis...

The PBS had message from Ann Patterson, a couple of weeks ago about her
plant which has been flowering since 1924. The message was copied to the
list.
