Dietes robinsoniana

I have had my own seeds of Dietes lie for years on pots of compost, and
then quantities germinate with no apparent stimulus other than the season.

My experience with Dietes is that seed must be sown very fresh, pressed
into the mix but not buried and mix kept constantly moist until the time of
germination when seedlings will apear like grass. Seed that has been stored
for some time will never germinate as compared with one's own fresh seed.
