Thanks to a donation to the BX by Mary Sue Ittner last year, I obtained a large bulb of Oxalis hirta 'Gothenburg'. It's been blooming here for about two weeks, and I really like this one. It suggests a low, eight or nine inch shrub, and the flowers are very nice. At first glance it suggests a low, bushy, pink- flowered Linum shrub. The flowers are larger than those of other oxalides I know: does any other species have a larger flower? Jim McKenney Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, USDA zone 7 ________________________________
