The bulbs are flowering size,but as with many bulbs it is possible occasionally for the flower bud to abort internally due to the stress of being lifted and dried for shipping.

Cool - thanks! In my personal experience - it can go either way. I haven't
even looked to see when their natural blooming time is - Mine have been
planted all along, but are just starting to grow.
My giant Urginea maritima, on the other hand, is in full wake up mode now.
