Moles

The bulb-eating habits of Townsend's moles is interesting to read about.
That is not the mole we have in the midwest, however. I wonder if this habit is
peculiar to the Townsend's mole.

I have one daffodil bed that somehow some mint escaped into. It was a
well-cultivated bed and the mint started to run. It is the only bed I have not
noticed mole runs in. I wonder if they just haven't discovered it yet, or if mint
is a deterrent?
