The ordinary fall snowflake is in flower here. Most of mine have longish scapes, in proportion to the size of the plant with close to white flowers. However, one patch is significantly dwarfer in stature, and has a pronounced pinkish tinge to the flowers. It's not Acis (Leucojum) roseum. Any guesses just what I have here? It's possible it's an environmental thing, since that one patch is in full blazing sun and my others aren't baked so much. -- Rodger Whitlock Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Maritime Zone 8, a cool Mediterranean climate on beautiful Vancouver Island
