David, Diana, The plant resembles the illustration of O. orbicularis in Jeppe's 'Spring and Winter Flowering Plants of the Cape', see plate 58d. I have a similar plant in my collection, and a less sturdy species that is superficially similar. Interestingly the latter was also acquired under the elusive name O oreoides.....!
