Daffodil longevity

Another Daffodil that is not long lasting as a rule in the ordinary garden
is Mount Hood,not a new hybrid by any means but the lovely white trumpets
are still popular. I have replaced it a number of times in my garden and
watched it dwindle away after a few years. I thought it might have been me
but a number of experienced Daffodil exhibitors have confirmed to me that it
doesn't last,such a pity,
