Dear All,

The bulbs listed below have been donated by Jim Waddick of Kansas City,
Missouri, to be shared. He has graciously offered to handle the packing and
shipping work and only asks for postage reimbursement. So the cost for you,
is is unusually low. If you are interested in obtaining some of them,
please email me PRIVATELY at <dells@voicenet.com>. Include "BX 72" in the
subject line. Since the bulbs are available in various sizes, be sure to
include the weight category. If we run out of a larger size, a smaller size
(and lower shipping cost) will be substituted unless you instruct otherwise.
You may request as many bulbs as you like; as always, availability is based
on a first come, first served system. It is a good idea to include your
snail mail address too, in case I don't already have it.
After your bulbs have been shipped, I will inform you by email or snail
mail, about how much money (cash or check) you should send the PBS
treasurer to defray Jim's costs for priority-mail postage.
THIS OFFERING IS AVAILABLE TO ANYONE WHO RECEIVES THIS MESSAGE; YOU DO
NOT HAVE TO BE A DUES-PAYING MEMBER OF THE PACIFIC BULB SOCIETY.
BUT, consider joining the PBS so that you can take advantage of future
offers which may not be available to non-members. Go to our website:
<http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/> . Or contact me at dells@voicenet.com
If you would like to donate seeds or bulbs/corms to the PBS, please send
CLEAN, clearly labeled material to: Dell Sherk, PO Box 224, Holicong, PA,
18928, USA. Donors will receive credit on the BX for the cost of postage for
their donations.

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL REPLY TO YOU WITHIN 24 HRS OF MY RECEIPT OF YOUR
ORDER..
IF YOU DO NOT HEAR FROM ME, TRY AGAIN !!

Crinum x powellii: These are mature mostly blooming size bulbs
of Crinum x powellii. This is the typical Dutch clone with many pale
pink flowers. They have grown in Kansas City Zone 5 with minimum
winter protection. These plants can get foliage up to 6 ft long in
all directions, flowers on 4 ft stalks. Not for the small garden or
weak of heart. If you live in a cool zone 5, 6 or 7 and wanted to try
Crinum, here's a chance to get a large bulb at very low cost. Plant
12 to 15 inches to bottom of bulb. Full sun, damp. I hope that if
these do well you try a better flowering variety. Bulbs shipped by
priority mail and costs will vary with size of bulb and postal zone
from Kansas City.

Since these are mostly large blooming size bulbs, postage is
higher than usual BX offerings. Most bulbs are over 3 lbs each.
Order by size of bulb:

Crinum bulbs are trimmed and mailed by USPS Priority. US only.
Mailing costs depend on Mail Zone from Kansas City.

Weight Priority mailing

1-2 lb $3.95 - $5.75
2-3 lb $4.74 - $8.55
3-4 lbs $5.40 - $10.35
4-5 lbs $5.85 - $12.15
5-6 lbs $6.30 - $12.30
