Hi All, I asked Alberto and Germán since they both are from Argentina if they could help with Hans' photos. Thanks to both of them for replying. And thanks to Doug for suggesting a possibility for the Haemanthus. Here is what Alberto says: "The Bolivian plant is probably a species of Chlidanthus (you must see the throats to tell the paraperigone from other genera)." http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/files/… "The orchid is a Stenorrhynchos." They both identify this one as an orchid, but Germán suggests Sacoila lanceolata http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/files/… "The Habranthus is H. cardenasiana." Both identify this one as a Habranthus, but the picture lacks enough details probably to determine which species. H. saltensis was the other possibility http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/files/… as.jpg "The last one is a species of Haylockia. I must check the descriptions to give you the species names." Germán suggested Habranthus or Zephyranthes, but suggested another picture from the side might help in an identification. http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/files/… a.jpg Mary Sue
