I am placing fall orders for OH and wanted to include
more early blooming bulbs. I have always loved seeing
Aconite but have never planted any. Does anyone on
this list in the appropriate areas have any
suggestions? I will be ordering from Brent and Becky's
so my choices are E. cilicia and hyemalis.
I will also be orderins some crocus, spring and fall.
I will go back through the archives for feedback. I am
looking at the following spring ones:

chrys. 'Advance'
tomm. 'Ruby Giant'
flavus 'Golden Yellow'

I have not made any decisions yet about fall ones. I
already have satavis and it does OK I think. I am
never there at it appropriate flowering time.

I am lucky to no have any problems with underground
varments but, I have rabbits above so, are any of
these overly appetizing to them?

Anyone have any other add ins for really early of late
bulbs?
I have thought about winter/fall blooming Narcissus
but I am afraid that the frosts/snow would play havoc
on them in z5.
