Hi Rob, I would certainly like to see that image and will have to go to local university library to see it as I do not have that issue of Herbertia. As you say, H. argentina has been merged into H. marginata. However, the image of H. marginata that I do have in the article http://kew.org/science/tropamerica/… tm is nothing like what I saw. Arroyo- Leuenberger and Beat Ernst Leuenberger. Your web image is quite similar to H marginata photographed in Puna- habitat in Jujay in the article.
