Just a further note on sterility. It doesn't hurt to keep a clean set of clothes in the room dvoted to the tissue culture. And to spray it with a dilute solution of Clorox or Physan prior to use. Keep tall est tubes or vials with cotton or other plugs in them in the room and sterilized. Do not bring them back and forth. Organisms from the air can be particularly robust sources of contamination. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donald Barnett" <rakkasanbarnett@gmail.com> To: "Pacific Bulb Society" <pbs@lists.ibiblio.org> Sent: Thursday, September 09, 2010 5:22 PM Subject: Re: [pbs] Tissue Culture ?
