Hi Jim, I try to attach my Lapageria flower picture here yesterday, however the file size is too large and I can not post here. So I upload to Flickr and hopefully you can see it http://flickr.com/photos/54046291@N07/… Andy ________________________________ From: James Waddick <jwaddick@kc.rr.com> To: Pacific Bulb Society <pbs@lists.ibiblio.org> Sent: Fri, September 17, 2010 8:25:18 PM Subject: Re: [pbs] Lapageria rosea > I've had 2 large lapageria here in NY for about three years, plus some >seedlings grown from fresh Chilean seed. > I don't think lapageria is particularly hard to grow, but Dear Ernie, Just the encouragement I wanted to hear. Having them go through winter here and cool season growth in my cool Greenhouse seems perfect. In summer, I can bring them indoors into AC and in a N or E window. I think I have a plan. Thanks to all who commented, although I was rather shocked by Ina's complaint about their weediness. If only..... Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd.
