I have some hybrid colchicums flowering in both the old and new gardens, and C. autumnale 'Nancy Lindsay'. In the new bulb house, where I got the fall bloomers in the ground about 10 days ago, there are about ten species in flower, including several formerly in Merendera. Also producing flowers immediately after their storage and move are Prospero (Scilla) autumnalis, P. intermedia, and Acis valentina. Today I realized I had to get the aroids settled, and found flowers emerging from several Biarum species -- I heaped the sand up over the flowers, which had not colored yet, and hoped for the best. Cyclamen hederifolium is producing a few flowers in the old garden, and I hope I get the potted ones settled in the new garden before it's too late, but they may have to spend the winter in pots, because the soil where they are to go is horrible.
