Hi, A friend gave me this plant 2-3 years ago. I grow it in a small container in good soil and with regular water (not aquatic style). I am unable to identify it. My friend brought it back from Thailand where it is used as a landscape plant. I presume that it is a Mexican species, but perhaps it is from a country further south. It sure it pretty.
