Tropaeolum tuberosum 'Ken Aslet'
John Bryan (Mon, 13 Jun 2005 16:29:13 PDT)
Dear All
Ken Aslet was in charge of the rock garden and alpine house at the RHS
Garden at Wisley. his knowledge of plants was outstanding and in
addition he was a great person with whom to talk. He was there at the
time I was a student there in 1955, Francis Hanger was then the Curator
and Frank Knight the Director. Now all these great people and great
horticulturists have passed away. Cheers, John E. Bryan

Dear Rodger,
Who was Ken Aslet? I see this name attached to that Oxalis with the nice
leaves that never blooms and now a Tropaeolum. Does anyone know?
My Tropaeolum tuberosum, no cultivar name, lived for a couple of years
without blooming before it went to bulb heaven. So you are way ahead of me.
Mary Sue
