Jaime, On a related note there are mechanisms like Distyly/trisyly, eg. Naarcissus triandrus (have 2 or 3 different flower forms w/ 2/or 3 diff. lenngths of filaments/stamens) & mirror image flowers, eg. Cassia spp.(Legimonsae). As for self compatibility....you also have flowers that can pollinate others on the same spike, but not themselves (and there's a term for this one, too).
