More power to you, Jim, on trying to encourage snakes. I saw a blacksnake eat
a mole here once and they became my immediate friends. They often winter in
the walls and ceiling of my garden shed. I walked by the shed one day and heard
the sound of things falling off shelves. Two black snakes were hanging
suspended from a wooden stake that hung out over a shelf and they were twisted
together and procreating.
Gardens need this kind of high drama as well!
