Might I ask if these plants were raised from seed distributed around 4 years
ago (I think originally contributed by Dwain Hicks)?

No, not that I know of. Perhaps from seed that were germinated by Chas.
Hardman. I purchased it as a small bulb at a bulb symposium in Los Angeles,
California. As it was growing, it developed about ten offsets.
