Nice colchicum photos. I assume you grow C. baytopiorum frost-free?
' Conquest ' is now considered to be ' Glory of Heemstede '. C.
byzantinum ' Album ' has been renamed C. b. ' Innocence ' . Both are
truly super.
Just finishing here is C. szovitzii, flowering for the first time from
seed, that may even replace C. hungaricum as my favorite winter-flowering
colchicum. Lovely little goblets in mauvey-pink, much darker on the outside,
giving a two-toned effect.
