Yes, I've been keeping my seedlings in pots. I've been doing this since an allium from a seed exchange seeded itself all over my monocot bed and the pathways around it. Now when an allium flowers for the first time, I move it to the table beside my front door where flowering pots are put to be admired, and check to see that it was correctly identified by the seed exchange donor. However, if they are going to flower two years sooner in the ground, I guess I had better donate a bit of vegetable garden to them. -- Diane Whitehead Victoria, British Columbia, Canada maritime zone 8 cool mediterranean climate (dry summer, rainy winter - 68 cm annually) sandy soil
