Hello, Alberto... You had mentioned the role that German-Texas horticulturist Peter Oberwetter played in distribution of Rhodophiala bifida in Central Texas. I see that a search on Google for him brings up nothing - but I'm sure his life and work have been treated in articles somewhere in Herbertia in the past, although he might have been too "local" to be written up. This evening I will see if he is mentioned in an old book by Traub on amaryllis I have at home. I will try Homerias, Romulea clusiana and G. tristis here in Central Texas. Cynthia W.
