Iris foetidissima is variable with blue flowers or yellow but most often the colour of mud. the seeds may be orange red or even white. the seed pods are nothing like the seed pods of PCIs. If the seeds correspond then you almost certainly have I foetidissima, the only Iris species I can think of with similar seeds have black seeds. I believe the colour of the flowers corresponds to the wild location of the material if forms have not been crossed.
