Barb, I get this on bulbines sometimes, the leaves look desiccated (and discolored) but they should not be based on cultural conditions. A critical factor for short day winter growers like this one is cool nighttime temps. They should be in the 50s and comfortably down to 40F or a little lower. These plants cannot metabolize in warm night temps so the food accumulated during daytime photosynthesis becomes toxic to the plant. Also, relatively warm and more humid winter conditions can favor botrytis, which can attack leaves of all sorts of plants. Dylan
