Well, the USDA finaly released the new zones and here is a link to the PDF site: http://www.ahs.org/pdfs/USDA_Map_3.03.pdf I lists Ohio as all zone 6. Looking over the CA section, I noticed that there is a large z10 area on the border of CA and AZ and at the foot of the hills just east of San Diego.
