Arnold, I'm afraid you've been schnookered again (this happens often when dealing with alliums). John Lonsdale is correct, the plant in your photograph is Allium cyathophorum var. farreri, the attractive usurper of many allium "species" in cultivation. I would very much like to acquire A. forrestii; it is reputedly one of the most attractive Chinese species, but unfortunately it's not in general cultivation (possibly not in cultivation at all).
