Hi Arnold: Yes. The Syrian form is described as having a fetid odor, and there is supposed to be a Lebanese population with no odor. Mine don't have an odor, and I stuck my nose in them repeatedly when I was trying to make sure I had the right identity, so mine are very likely the Lebanese population, but could be the Syrian one. It sure makes a difference when you grow something inside as far as being able to detect a scent. Triteleia hyacinthina has a pronounced sweet scent if indoors. Outside I can't detect anything.
