I arrived home from work a few moments ago and noticed a clump of bright purple at the corner of the house.... sure enough it's 6 blooms on Iris cretensis. Daytime temps hit nearly 60 degrees today for the first time in months. Tomorrow is forecasted to be even warmer (but stormy). Dennis in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA, Z6) PS: My other clump of Iris cretensis is warmer, but shadier, and has no blooms.
