From what I can tell 'Spitzenschleier' doesn't produce large edible shoots, otherwise they look similar to me also.

Tony, how do I differentiate Asparagus officinalis var. pseudoscaber 'Spitzenschleier' which I have been growing for years from plain Asparagus officinalis that I grow as vegetable in the kitchen garden? I can't see a huge amount of difference...
