Hello, This spring we talked about naturalising Crocus species in lawns. John Grimshaw said that C. tommasianus did not make seed in the UK. I have a trial in this subject going since a few years. After a checkup yesterday I am glad to report that in our mediterranean climat this species (in addition to numerous offshoots) does make abundant seed which is now been spread around (added by the lawnmower). However, C. ancyrense does not show a single seedpod. Greetings Lauw de Jager South of France http://www.bulbargence.com/
