Ellen and all, Been there, killed that. It is interesting that a hand me down bulbs via ebay might have more viability than a Dutch 'product'. Something to learn with this situation. I find that too often some plants seen to be selected for their ability to propagate under nursery conditions and not for their vigor as a garden plant. I think we all see tables of wonderful new varieties this time of year at the garden centers, then bring a new variety into the garden and see it fail utterly. I think this gives more credence to our own PBS BX than might seem apparent because our donors grow their own. They are not mega /mass produced efforts from some distant climate and conditions. Happy Mothers' Day to all. Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd. Kansas City Missouri 64152-2711 USA Ph. 816-746-1949 Zone 5 Record low -23F Summer 100F +
