I said that the commercially available Dutch clones do not set seed, which is the case in my experience. Non-clonal C. tommasinianus sets copious seed, which germinates freely. This year, however, I suspect seed-set was very poor, as we had overcast weather most of the time the flowers were out and they didn't open - opportunities for pollination were very few. This is certainly evident in the low seed production in Galanthus this year, but it is still a little too soon to tell what the crocuses achieved.
