It is a genus at the base of the Allium tree so maybe in the far future it may be reinstated as Nectaroscordum as more data is available. Right now though it is an Allium with decent support so that's why we use that classification on the wiki but still kept the Nectaroscordum<http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/…>page intact.
