Jim McKenney described the flowers of Paeonia 'Coral Charm' as being 'coral, shrimp, peach and buff', which is accurate for the early stages. As the flower ages, however, it becomes a very attractive soft buff-yellow. I haven't noticed the changing fragrance, but find that there is usually something unpleasant lurking in the scent of a peony anyway. 'Coral Charm' isn't out here yet, but we're working through the species and their primary derivatives and P. delavayi is out against a wall, but not yet on the free-standing plants.
