Moraea picture for the wiki Pest page

Dear All,

Not too long ago I wrote that my Moraea lurida plants had spikes and I
hoped to get one that was purple. Most of mine have been yellow with a dark
center. Something has eaten part of one that was less yellow. So I am
hoping the next bud escapes the predator. Grasshopper? Box elder bug? Bird?
