Hi All, that Santa Rosa PCI looks like a wonderful selection of I. purdyi or a natural hybrid there of, perhaps with I. douglasiana. I. purdyi has this flat star-like appearance and a truncated stigma. Jana, was this a single plant or part of a clump? Typically, the species does not form dense clumps in the wild, but I. douglasiana does. I hope you will be able to collect some seed or is it in a protected area? In any case, a truly beautiful blossom. Jamie V.
