"Can anyone tell me where on earth I can buy the seeds for the 'Worsleya
procera'
??? I have scoured EVERYWHERE from Brazil to the U.S.A including all over
Australia. I'm beginning to think I'll be able to find Saddam easier

Can anyone please help me???? Put me out of my misery "

Hi:
The same happened with Tecophilaea cyanocrocus years ago of which seed
were commercially offered at high prices. Now they are seen in seed
exchanges several times a year. It will take time
before Worsleya seed is more widely available.
Brazil has severe penalties for collecting plants in the wild and
Worsleya is federally endangered. This has removed a lot of the material
from the trade. One of the main problems is that Worsleya has certain
requirements that must be met. It is not a weed!
As for your question, a few seeds are available for sale every year in
Australia and New Zealand. The problem is that their number is far exceeded
by demand
Regards
Alberto
