Hi Mark,

I also have grown quite a lot of seedlings of Haemanthus montanus this
past year from three sources - there is one plant type that is very
robust growing a leaf up to 5 inches long in the the first seasons
growth - although we are in different hemispheres you will also find
that it is winter dormant.
