There are many genera of mesembs, in the family Aizoaceae, with (sometimes very large) tuberous roots, which are not represented on our wiki. Here are a few from the genus Phyllobolus, somewhat beloved of caudiciform cultivators, and when raised do have caudiciform bona fides. The red-flowered plant is P. tenuiflorus, the other flowered one is P. pearsonii (with blister cell leaves) and the last is P. resurgens which has green flowers and can make large tubers. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
