I use LED lights and have had a lot of success with them. In fact, they came in very handy today. It is an overcast and windy day in the Azores with rain forecast in the afternoon. I have a Moraea tulbaghensis that wanted to open, if only there was a little sun. So I popped the pot under the grow lights and it promptly opened (attached photo). Too often these flowers that open for only a day fail to get the light they need and then act the next as if it had happened and wither. This is the first time the bulb has bloomed and I wasn't going to miss seeing it open. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
