Robert, Thank you (I think) for the vertiginous photo (3rd) of *Dodecatheon clevelandii.* Always a pleasure to see geophytes in habitat. Think I'll close my eyes now, lie down, try to overcome the photo inducing queasiness, and dream of blooming geophytes. Mike western Washington where *Crocus tommasinianus* and hybrids are starting into their glorious bloom, with frequent visitations by honey bees gathering their early season meal of pollen (protein) on milder, dry days. Also, *Galanthus* and *Cyclamen* coum in bloom, with *Scoliopus bigelovii *popping up. *Nothoscordum dialystemon* scenting the unheated greenhouse on the occasional sunny day.
